On the first Friday and third Saturday of each month, Gulfport, FL hosts an Art Walk. Artists come from all over to sell their creations. Homemade soaps, candles, jewelry and even dog biscuits are just a few of the items you will find. The stores and restaurants along Beach Boulevard and Shore Boulevard are open, so plan to spend a few hours in Gulfport and listen to the variety of musicians playing along the street. Stop by the Industrial Arts Center for the glass blowing demonstrations and see how a glob of hot molten glass can be transformed into a colorful crystal ornament.
On our visit, the sunset was absolutely beautiful. As we were busy taking photographs of the sun as it set upon the Gulf, we were amazed when we turn around and saw the incredible moon.
